THE LION AND THE MOUSE  शेर और चूहा

Once there was a lion in the jungle. He was sleeping. A mouse lived nearby. It came out of its hole. It began to jamp over the lion. The lion woke up. He caught the mouse. The mouse bagged for mercy. The lion took pity on it. He let it go.

एक बार जंगल में एक शेर था।  वह सो रहा था।  पास में एक चूहा रहता था।  यह अपने छेद से बाहर आया।  यह शेर के ऊपर कूदने लगा।  शेर जाग गया।  उसने चूहे को पकड़ लिया।  चूहे को दया आ गई।  शेर को उस पर दया आ गई।  उसने जाने दिया।

मूर्ख गधा हिंदी इंग्लिश के साथ

1. A salt seller used to carry the salt bag on his donkey to the market every day.

एक नमक बेचने वाला हर दिन अपने गधे पर नमक की थैली को बाजार तक ले जाता था।

On the way they had to cross a stream. One day the donkey suddenly tumbled down the stream and the salt bag also fell into the water. The salt dissolved in the water and hence the bag became very light to carry. The donkey was happy.

रास्ते में उन्हें एक नाला पार करना था।  एक दिन गधा अचानक धारा में गिर गया और नमक की थैली भी पानी में गिर गई।  नमक पानी में घुल गया और इसलिए बैग ले जाने के लिए बहुत हल्का हो गया।  गधा खुश था।

Then the donkey started to play the same trick every day.

फिर गधे ने हर दिन एक ही चाल चलना शुरू कर दिया।

The salt seller came to understand the trick and decided to teach a lesson to it. The next day he loaded a cotton bag on the donkey.

नमक बेचने वाले को चाल समझ में आ गई और उसने उसे सबक सिखाने का फैसला किया।  अगले दिन उसने गधे पर एक कपास की थैली लाद दी।

Again it played the same trick hoping that the cotton bag would be still become lighter.

फिर से इसने एक ही चाल खेली कि यह उम्मीद है कि कपास की थैली अब भी हल्की हो जाएगी।

But the dampened cotton became very heavy to carry and the donkey suffered. It learnt a lesson. It didn’t play the trick anymore after that day, and the seller was happy.

लेकिन भीगे हुए कॉटन को ले जाना भारी पड़ गया और गधे को दर्द हुआ।  इसने एक सबक सीखा।  उस दिन के बाद यह चाल नहीं चली, और विक्रेता खुश था।
